About

Dr. Stephanie Fissekis completed her DVM degree at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and passed her ACVAA board exam in 2017. Before her Anesthesiology residency at Kansas State University, Stephanie practiced as a primary care veterinarian and emergency veterinarian in Massachusetts. Her research on oxygen flow meters was published in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2017. Since completing her residency, she has worked in private practice referral hospitals. Stephanie has overseen staff anesthesia training and regularly taught didactic rounds. She also delivers continuing education lectures to primary care veterinarians to help optimize anesthesia care for all patients in the area.

As hobbies, Stephanie guest lectures to high school students, plays Ultimate Frisbee, and canoes on the Charles River with her family including their American Cocker Spaniel, Rupert.
