Social Work

Veterinary social work is a specialty that focuses on the human needs of veterinary medicine.

Understanding the significance of the human-animal bond is critical to veterinary medicine. At Bulger, our Social Worker Colleen addresses the needs that may arise for both our clients and our staff members.

The changing role of animals in our lives has allowed for the development of veterinary social work; our companions are family, and our veterinary social worker fully acknowledges this. Our social worker is here to help support pet owners during emotionally difficult situations that may arise. As pet owners, we may be presented with overwhelmingly complicated situations, and our social worker is here to help guide you through these tough times with empathy and support.
