About

Dr. Melissa Henrikson was born and raised north of Boston. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Vermont. After graduation she moved to Mississippi to complete her DVM at Mississippi State University. Following veterinary school, Dr. Henrikson completed a one year intensive small animal internship at VCA South Shore. Her medical interests include emergency and critical care, surgery and medicine.

In her free time, she likes to relax by spending time outdoors, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her two dogs Sampson and Jojo, and two cats Milo and Aeluro.
