Cat Ouellette

About

Cat Ouellette started in the veterinary field in 1998 working in small animal practices where she gained experience and knowledge. She was eager to expand her skills and joined IVG in 2001 working in general practice at Muddy Creek Animal Care Center and at Bulger Veterinary Hospital as an Emergency Technician. In 2003, Cat moved into the ophthalmology department at Bulger.  As an ophthalmology technician she gained great knowledge and skill in the specialty working under the wing of ophthalmologist, Ruth Marrion.  She passed the National Veterinary Technician Exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2006.

In 2012 Cat was promoted to Ophthalmology supervisor and managed several technicians and helped grow the service to what it is today. Her favorite part of the job has been taking care of her patients and her clients.

Cat has always had an interest in the overall operations of the hospital and in 2015 Cat was chosen for the company-wide Manager Trainee program and completed 2 years of leadership training. In 2017 she was promoted to Hospital Service Manager at Bulger Veterinary Hospital. In her spare time, Cat enjoys playing softball, running and cooking.  She loves spending time with her family, coaching or watching her kids play sports. She also enjoys spending time with her three dogs and two cats.
